Chix & Buck pop up wine bar & tasting at Cornercopia

Chix and Buck are a local wine importer (based in Streatham) who work with undiscovered vineyards & small European producers, often with a family history of viniculture going back centuries. They supply delicious reds and a rose to Cornercopia. For 2 nights in December they will be guests at Cornercopia to running a pop up wine bar and a ticket only wine tasting, by the log fire in our dinning room.
Wine tasting
The wine tasting will be tutored by Chix (of Chix & Buck) but informal with opportunity to ask as many questions as you like, gain some extra wine knowledge and advice on stocking your Christmas cellar.
You will sample 6 wines from their exclusive French and Italian range including a delicious semi-sparkling red, a couple of natural wines, great reds to go with winter stews and Pecorino (an Italian white rather than the cheese..) a grape long forgotton and re-discovered about 10 years ago. We will also sneak in ‘Quincy’ – a fabulous local fruit liqueur – made with Quinces form Essex. Wines will be accompanied by Cheese and Charcuterie from Cornercopia.
Tickets are £25 and include a welcome glass of bubbly, 6 sample wines, quince liqueur , cheese & charcuterie from Cornercopia
There are just 18 tickets available each evening (5 or 19th December – 7pm – 9.30pm)

Pop up wine bar
As well as the wine tasting Chix and Buck will be running a pop up wine bar at Cornercopia with their exclusive range of wines. Cornercopia will be offering cheese and charcutuerie and warming bowls of tasty stew! (no-bookings, just turn up)
