Food Start Up Seminars For Women

We are planning to run some more Food Start Up Seminars in the coming months so please email us if you are interested in finding out more

 About the seminars
There is a lot we wish we had known when we started our business almost 5 years ago! We have learnt a lot along the way and the primary aim of these workshops is to share that knowledge with women at the start of their journey into the food business. This is an insiders guide to what it’s really like running your own food business, our top tips for success and the things we wish we had done differently!

There will be further opportunities for women to get free 1;1 mentoring on a specific business idea with us and we can put you in touch with a social enterprise that may be able to help with start-up loans of £1,000-£25,000.

The project is supported by Westminster Enterprise Centre and they will be running free seminars on becoming self employed, financial aspects of running a business, marketing, PR and branding. Whilst each seminar will be essentially the same, we plan to bring together women interested in launching either a food product or those interested in setting up a restaurant, supper-club or similar.

Who is it for?
Places are limited to 10 women per session. To be eligible you must be female and considering setting up a food business and either becoming self employed or setting up your own company. Unfortunately we can’t accept women who are already self employed.  Seminars will take place in the market and will include a basic lunch of hearty bread and soup.
