Urban Food Week: Celebrating London’s community food growers, foragers & beekeepers


Starters
Burrata, roasted beetroot, hedgerow vinegar
Pigeon terrine, black fig, London honey, lavender
Dorset crab on toast, cucumber
Somerset goats curd, courgettes, lemon, mint
Smoked chicken salad, London honey, pistachio
Mains
Surrey pork belly, chorizo tortilla, roast red pepper, sherry vinegar
Fennel and white fish stew,  leeks, pastis, aoili
Crispy duck,  peas, bacon,  pea shoots
Slow roast tomato, pecorino, barley, cavalo nero pesto
Puds
Greengage tart, elderflower syrup ice cream
Buttermilk pudding, salted caramel
Brixton honeycomb, roasted cobnuts, curd

Brixton on our Menu this week:

Baby herbs and leaves: grown by Lambeth Poly – a community education and growing project in  Tulse Hill, Brixton 
Hedgerow vinegar
: made with blackberries and elderberries foraged  in Brixton,  SW2
Brixton Honeycomb: Made by bees on Ferndale road, Brixton, SW9
Mint: from our garden on Brixton hill, SW2
Elderflower syrup: made with elderflowers gathered in and around Brixton gardens
Lavender: from our garden on Brixton Hill, Sw2
Toast & Bread: made by Andy Forbes of Brockwell bake & Wild Caper in Brixton
